Irene Przywara was born in San Francisco, CA and raised in southern Oregon. She trained in New York City on full scholarship at School of American Ballet, Ballet Academy East, and Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Professional Training Program. She has spent summers training with American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and New York State Summer School of the Arts. Ms. Przywara has performed with the Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble under Arthur Mitchell; Eglevsky Ballet under both Ali Pourfarrukh and Lazlo Berdo; Dances Patrelle under Francis Patrelle; Lumiere Ballet under Venti Petrov; and, for the 2011-2012 season, as an apprentice in the second company, with North Carolina Dance Theatre under Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux. She is honored to be joining Cincinnati Ballet for her first season and would like to express her deepest gratitude to all of her teachers and to her beloved family.
