Mr. Gaga documentary highlights Naharin’s unique style

February 8, 2017

During Bold Moves, March 17-18, Cincinnati Ballet will bring a whole new language to life at the Aronoff Center. Known to The New York Times as “one of the most important choreographers in the world,” Ohad Naharin’s unique movement language, the Gaga technique, has made waves across the globe. And now it’s Cincinnati’s turn. Visceral yet clean, animalistic yet soft, Gaga is a not just a new way to think about dance, but a new way for dancers to think about themselves, the audience, and their art. The new documentary, Mr. Gaga, explores Naharin’s life and what lead him to redefine the very premise of what it means to dance.

Mr. Gaga can be seen at select theaters across the United States beginning February 1. Tickets to see Minus 16, part of Cincinnati Ballet’s Bold Moves, can be purchased online or by phone.
