Originally from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, Khris Santos began dancing at age 11. He trained at the Puerto Rican National Ballet School with Julián E. Blanco, Ballets De San Juan School and San Francisco Ballet School. Santos joined Cincinnati Ballet Second Company in 2013 and was promoted to Apprentice in 14-15 and New Dancer for the 15-16 Season. Santos’s favorite ballet is Swan Lake and if he could dance in any ballet he would choose The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude by the famed William Forsythe. Santos’s favorite personal dancing memory is dancing in Le Corsaire at his graduation. In July 2015 he participated in an international ballet competition held in Beijing, China, with other top dancers from around the world.
