John Michael Donley started taking dance classes at the age of 14 at Legacy School of the Arts — initially to assist with musical theatre endeavors. He went on to attend summer intensives at Atlanta Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet before joining classes at the University of Missouri – Kansas City Conservatory and open classes at Kansas City Ballet. Upon graduating high School, Donley was a trainee with Orlando Ballet for one season before joining Cincinnati Ballet Second Company for the 2016-2017 Season.
