Cincinnati Ballet's Summer Intensive 2015
Providing excellence in training and professional advancement
About the Program
Cincinnati Ballet's Summer Intensive program is designed for the serious ballet student with professional aspirations. Featuring international guest faculty, the program helps students maximize their progress, strength and development through an immersion process that includes full days of dance. Cincinnati Ballet's rigorous curriculum focuses on both the technical and artistic aspects of proper ballet technique, execution and expression while enhancing versatility in other dance genres including jazz, modern, character, composition and contemporary ballet. Partnering and men's classes are also part of the core curriculum for all levels as well as Pilates for the development of core strength. Cincinnati Ballet offers an exceptional combination of high quality instruction and personal attention which will take each student to new levels of excellence. Class size is limited to 25 students.
With two, three, four and five week sessions available, students have intimate access to Cincinnati Ballet's finest as well as the opportunity to take advantage of Cincinnati's rich cultural landscape through weekend and evening events at Cincinnati Opera, Great American Ballpark, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra at Riverbend, among others. Students from outside the greater Cincinnati area also have the option to participate in our residential program through Xavier University.
