The Children’s Division of the Otto M. Budig Academy is designed to inspire a life-long love of dance for students ages 2 – 7. Through age-appropriate curriculum, students build confidence and capacity in their physical potential while imagination and artistic expression develop their unique sense of creativity. The fundamentals of classical ballet are gradually introduced, setting students up for success as they graduate into the Preparatory Division.

ABOUT PETITE PAS DE DEUX
Petite Pas de Deux is a weekly 30-minute dance and movement class for students ages 2 – 3. Students take class alongside a parent or adult caregiver who is an active participant in the class.
Students should enroll in one of the class offerings below. Enrollment is for the full Academy Year (September – May). All classes take place in person at the Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance.

Pre Ballet is a weekly 60-minute ballet class for students who are eager to begin learning the early basics of classical ballet technique. Pre Ballet students participate in the annual Children’s Division Spring Production.
