OPEN ADULT BALLET CLASSES
When it comes to building strength, grace, flexibility and tone, ballet is one of the best physical and mental workouts on the market. Whether you’ve been inspired by a Cincinnati Ballet performance or the latest episode of So You Think You Can Dance or you’re trying to maintain technique from a lifetime of training, there’s a class to fit your needs. No matter what your level, we can assure you by class end, you will be walking taller and tapping in to the lean strength ballet dancers are famous for. All classes are available on a drop in basis to adults ages 18 and up.

BALLET BASICS and Stretch for Mind, Body and Spirit: Start your morning with ballet barre, floor stretches, simple movement and breath work. Work on flexibility, strengthening, sculpting, balance and grace in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
First and foremost, you should wear what is comfortable. This may range from tights and a leotard to leggings, yoga pants or fitted sweatpants and a t-shirt. Dance attire should be easy to move in but somewhat form fitting so both you and the instructor can observe and correct body placement. Ballet students will need ballet slippers. Long hair should be pulled away from the face and anything more than minimal jewelry should be removed during class time.
