2013-2014 Season

Just 50 years ago, four visionary dance teachers were auditioning 200 high school hopefuls for the first humble performances of the Cincinnati Civic Ballet. Today, we stand proudly as one of the preeminent regional ballet companies in the U.S., one of only a handful to celebrate such a remarkable milestone.

We’ve achieved so much and although we pause to look back, our 50th Anniversary is really all about moving forward. Throughout our halls there are plans brewing for a season unlike any other, one that sets the stage for an even greater half century to come. And you’re invited! Just click on any of the associated pages and you’ll get a colorful glimpse into special initiatives taking place in honor of our 50th year.
