Be a Step Ahead with Footnotes
Want an insider peek at the ballet? Plan to come to Footnotes 45 minutes before each performance in the Center Stage Room at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Footnotes for New Works will be held at the Mickey Jarson Kaplan Performance Studio. This free series features insightful narratives by visiting choreographers and other collaborators such as costume, set and lighting designers. Find out how it all comes together. Starting time for evening performances is at 7:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. for matinees. Excludes all performances of The Nutcracker.
Parking
The Cincinnati Ballet Center has an elevated parking lot on Central Parkway, just south of the building. The Aronoff Center has Valet Parking available on the Seventh Street side of the building in addition to numerous garages and on street parking. Prices vary from $4 to $10.
Ticket Exchanges, Refunds, and Tax Deductible Donations
Cincinnati Ballet has adopted a no refund policy. Subscribers may exchange their tickets for another date within the series free of charge. Single ticket buyers may exchange their tickets for another date within the series for an additional charge of $5.00 per ticket. Tickets may be exchanged in person or by phone at the Cincinnati Ballet Box Office. You may also donate your tickets and receive a tax deduction form. To receive credit for a charitable contribution, tickets must be returned to the Cincinnati Ballet Box Office 24 hours prior to the performance. Tickets can only be exchanged prior to the performance. After the performance there will not be any exchanges.
Lost Tickets
Don't worry if you have misplaced your tickets! Your seat location is on file. Simply call the Cincinnati Ballet Box Office 513-621-5282 and we will be happy to issue duplicates.
Late Seating
Running Late? To protect the safety of patrons and performers, a patron arriving after a performance begins will be seated at an appropriate pause in the production. Late patrons may watch the performance on the monitors in the lobby until they are seated. No Exceptions.
Audio Description Services
Cincinnati Ballet hires VSA of Ohio to provide their services to those with impaired sight during specific performances. Devices to utilize these services are free and available at coat checks.
Senior and Student Tickets
Students with a valid ID and Seniors (60+) may purchase tickets at 50% off in person starting 2 hours prior to show time.
Gift Certificates
Puzzled as to what to give friends, family, or clients for the holidays? Charm them with a gift certificate to the Cincinnati Ballet. You may purchase gift certificates through the Cincinnati Ballet Center Box Office by calling 513-621-5282.

Cincinnati Ballet is proud to offer accessible seating in all performance venues. Please indicate your requirements when purchasing tickets.
Ballet Attire
Most people feel comfortable in business casual attire when attending the ballet. However, if the evening is a special occasion, we encourage you to make the most of it.
Age Guidelines
For our more family-friendly story ballets, we recommend that children be at least two years of age and capable of sitting happily and quietly through a two-hour performance to attend a production. Sometimes, even children who are older than five years may not be mature enough to sit quietly through an entire performance. If a child of any age is too talkative, fidgety or in any way disrupts other audience members, our usher staff has been trained to ask the parent to take the child out into the lobby out of respect for others attending the performance. Please note that there are not special ticket prices for children of any age. Every person entering the theatre must have a ticket, regardless of age.
