Sam trained with Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev for five years, spending the last year in Joffrey Ballet’s trainee program where he worked in notable performances such as Lar Lubovich’s Othello and the world premier of Pretty Ballet by James Kudelka. He also won First Place at the YAGP competition in Chicago. Sam returns to Cincinnati Ballet for the 2012-2013 season as a corps member.
