They say that talking about music is like dancing about Architecture.

Join us. Cincinnati Ballet and aim cincinnati have collaborated to create the Cultures of Dance tour. 

In this hour-long, family-friendly program we will discuss the history of dance in these cultures, show similarities and cultivate an educated eye to see what makes each dance style unique.

  • Cincinnati Ballet trainees perform an original modern work by Rhythm & Motion(TM) Artistic Director Heather Britt.
  • aim cincinnati’s performs excerpts from Talking Eggs
  • The award-winning Krucial Hip Hop Crew perform hip hop dance.
  • Children of Greater Cincinnati Chinese School Children Arts Troupe perform a traditional Chinese Fan Dance.
  • Nalanda Dance Academy performs a celebratory Indian dance
  • This interactive program concludes with audience members learning the dance from Thriller.
