Students dress in clothes that do not inhibit movement and allow the teacher and student to observe and correct body placement. Ballet shoes are necessary for ballet classes. Class size is LIMITED TO 30 students. Please arrive 30 minutes early to sign in and reserve your spot.
ADULT BEGINNER BALLET: This class is ideal for the mature adult student who has had experience in ballet at a basic level. It provides a professional, comprehensive introduction to the art form. It is also useful to those returning to ballet after an extended break.
ADULT BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE: This level of our adult ballet will challenge those students who are ready for more than the basics. Our knowledgeable teachers can accommodate their teaching to each students level to further enhance the students technique.
ADULT INTERMEDIATE: This class is designed for the adult student who has a good knowledge and understanding of ballet technique but is a pace slower than our advanced class.
ADULT INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED BALLET: Designed for the more advanced ballet student who is able to work at a fast pace. This class is taught in a manner that adjusts to the students that take it, so a broad range of ability and experience is welcome.
BABY BOOMER BALLET: A gentle form of ballet for those in this age category and those wishing to enjoy a low-impact class. Experience all the best this beautiful art form has to offer including flexibility, strengthening, sculpting, stretching, balance and grace. Class includes ballet barre, floor stretches, simple movement and breath work in a relaxed an encouraging environment. Good for the mind, body and spirit!
BALLET/JAZZ COMBO: A ballet and jazz class that alternates between ballet on the first and third Wednesdays and jazz on the second and fourth Wednesdays
New BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE TAP: A perfect class for getting into the rhythm of dance that is both mentally and physically challenging. Improves balance, coordination, and timing while moving to the music.
