Victoria Morgan | Artistic Director & CEO Over the past fifteen years, Cincinnati Ballet has experienced tremendous growth and critical success under the leadership of Artistic Director Victoria Morgan. Frederic Franklin CBE | Artistic Director Emeritus Mr. Franklin was co-founder of the Slavenska-Franklin Ballet, and founding director of the National Ballet in Washington, and has staged works for companies throughout the world. His choreographic credits include Etalage (1958) and Homage Au Ballet (1963) for the Washington Ballet, and Tribute (1962) for the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Fortunately, local Cincinnatian Julius Fleischmann was a major donor for the Ballet Russe, which often toured to Cincinnati. Mr. Franklin became an important part of the artistic evolution of Cincinnati Ballet. He staged the company’s very first Nutcracker in 1974, was interim artistic director from 1984-86, and was christened our artistic director emeritus in 1988. |

Carmon DeLeone | Music Director Carmon DeLeone, Music Director of The Cincinnati Ballet, The Middletown (OH) Symphony, and Conductor Laureate of The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra possesses an impressive list of accomplishments. At New York's Carnegie Hall, he has served as Conductor and Host of the Family Concert Series with the Orchestra of St. Lukes. He has conducted frequent performances in Europe with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, and has been named the Illinois "Music Director of the Year." Devon Carney | Associate Artistic Director Mr. Carney currently serves as Associate Artistic Director of Cincinnati Ballet and has been with the company since 2003. He has had the opportunity to work closely with choreographers Donald Byrd, Lynn Taylor Corbett, Jorma Elo, Victor Kabanieav, Trey McIntyre, Donald McKayle, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Kirk Peterson and others during this time and has choreographed and staged a number of full-productions for the company, including The Sleeping Beauty, and currently Giselle and The Steadfast Tin Soldier for the 2011-12 season. Johanna Bernstein Wilt | Principal Ballet Mistress Johanna Bernstein Wilt danced with Cincinnati Ballet for 11 seasons before becoming Ballet Mistress in 1992. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio and studied at the Metropolitan Ballet School in Columbus, the New York School of Ballet in New York City, The American Dance Festival at Connecticut College, Ohio State University and Rotterdam Dance Conservatory in the Netherlands. Bernstein Wilt has staged a number of works including Table Manners for Peter Anastos at the Jacob's Pillow Summer Dance Festival in Massachusetts, John Butler’s Carmina Burnana for Oakland Ballet, sections of Madame Butterfly for BalletMet, and Victoria Morgan's Cinderella for Ballet Internationale. Suzette Boyer Webb | CBII Manager/Academy Coach Suzette Boyer Webb is entering her second season as the Cincinnati Ballet II Company Manager and Children’s Ballet Mistress. In the past year, she has worked with the Cincinnati Ballet II, Cincinnati Ballet’s training program for tomorrow’s professional dancers and has worked as the Children’s Ballet Mistress for Victoria Morgan’s New Nutcracker and for Devon Carney’s Giselle and The Steadfast Tin Soldier. Suzette is a former Principal dancer with the Cincinnati Ballet Company. Prior to returning to Cincinnati Ballet, Suzette served on the Dance Division faculty at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory Of Music for many years. [Read more] |

Adam Hougland | Resident Choreographer Adam is the Principal Choreographer for Cincinnati Ballet and The Louisville Ballet. Since becoming Lousiville's resident choreographer, he has created five critically acclaimed original works for the company, the most recent being Rite of Spring with special guest artist Wendy Wehlan (principal dancer, New York City Ballet). Adam was recently named Resident Choreographer for Cincinnati Ballet and began this new relationship by creating a ground-breaking and innovative world premiere to Mozart's Requiem in March 2010, followed by The Firebird in 2011. Trad A Burns | Resident Lighting Designer Enjoying his tenth season as the Resident Lighting Designer for Cincinnati Ballet, Trad has been privileged to design two world premieres by Choreographer Adam Hougland, as well as world premiere works by Artistic Director Victoria Morgan, Devon Carney, Johanna Bernstein Wilt, Kirk Peterson, Trey McIntyre, Val Caniparoli, Donald Byrd, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Sarah Slipper, Luca Veggetti, Viktor Kabaniaev, and Jessica Lang. Youngwon P. French | Company Pianist Youngwon has been working as a pianist with Cincinnati Ballet since the season 2010. She won several first prizes in piano competitions and awards including International Young Artists Piano Competition in Korea, Asia Piano Competition, Montreal Classical Music Festival, and Austrian Society Scholarship Competition in Canada. Della Enns | Company Pianist Della, an award-winning pianist and composer, brings her skill to a soul level, touching diverse audiences in "places where words cannot." She was honored in Nashville as independent "Instrumental Artist of the Year" in 2008. Her music is delivered with elegance and grace, and reaches deeply within to still and soothe, to uplift and enliven and ultimately inspire the human spirit.
